When our own people abandon the honorable principles that built this country, I can only see that they do it out of an immense despair over the state of things. They have abandoned this country, and they have abandoned this country because their own country has abandoned them. We, who march to Washington, march because we are the victims of abandonment. In a tragic irony, those whom the so-called president thinks he is protecting are crying out from the shadows of a legal, moral, constitutional deterioration that is his "war on terror."
